Started in early 2003 as a band “just for fun” but transformed since 2005 in a heavy stonerrock
band; in short the history of “The 1.90's”.
With a basic “rock 'n roll” possession of drums, bass, guitars and vocals and influenced by bands
like Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Unida and Black Label Society (just to name a few) they started writing
their own songs after playing covers for about 2 years. A distinctive sound of low tuned guitars and
a singer with a voice between Ian Astbury and Keith Caputo, combined with lots of energy on their
live gigs.
5 of these own songs are recorded late 2007 on their MCD “Un neuf zero” which will be released
later in 2008 and comprises their heavy and low live sound.
Some reviews:
“Stonerrock of the upper beam !”
“Their classical Black Sabbath sound combined with a modern stonerrock style sounded great and
heavy !”
“......but with ‘Black Blood’ they have also a song of their own. And a really heavy one, that is. I
wonder why the band doesn’t write more songs.” (we do....Dûh!)
